Factors Affecting the Knowledge Level and Attitudes of Nurses about Pain Management

Amaç: Tanımlayıcı tipte planlanan bu çalışmanın amacı; ağrı yönetimi konusunda hemşirelerin davranışları ve bilgi düzeylerini etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmanın popülasyonu bir devlet hastanesinin dahili, cerrahi servisleri ve yoğun bakımlarında çalışan hemşirelerdir. Çalışmaya toplam 79 hemşire dahil edilmiştir. Heavy Metal Accummulation in Muscles and Total Bodies of Mullus barbatus, Trachurus trachurus and Engraulis encrasicolus Captured from the Coast of Sinop, Black Sea

The levels of heavy metals viz., Cd, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb, Zn and Al were determined by ICP-AES in the muscles and total bodies of Mullus barbatus (Linnaeus 1758), Trachurus trachurus (Linnaeus 1758), Engraulis encrasicolus (Linnaeus 1758) captured from the coast of Sinop. The order of the levels of the heavy metals in the total fish samples was Fe > Zn > Al > Pb > Cu > Ni > Cd, whereas in the muscles, the order was Zn > Fe > Cu > Al > Pb > Ni > Cd. The experiment results are discussed by comparison with literature values.

Influence of soft drinks on dental enamel: An in vitro study

Bovine incisors buccal side was sectioned with a diamond saw and a total of 100 enamel blocks were prepared (8 × 4 × 0.5 mm).
