ABSTRACTAntibacterial photodynamic therapy is a treatment that occurs in the presence of light, photosensitizer and oxygen. The photosensitizer reacts with the molecular oxygen in the environment when it is stimulated by light at the appropriate wavelength, causing reactive oxygen species at the end. ABSTRACTIn this thesis, an Arduino extension board (shield) is designed to take theelectrocardiography (ECG) signals. Firstly, the positive and negative terminals of an ECG signal are selected to determine which input pins are connected to these terminals. User can select one of eight possible inputs for each terminal, which means the user can apply one of the possible 64 channel combinations to inputs of the design.
