Finite element analysis of material and parameter effects in ballistic armors Balistik zırhlarda malzeme ve parametre etkilerinin sonlu elemanlar yöntemiyle analizi

Latif Tibet Aktaş

ABSTRACTBulletproof composite armor models are investigated using finite element software ANSYS/AUTODYN. A composite plate is modelled with Kevlar 29/epoxy, analysed, and the results obtained by this model are confirmed with the results available in the literature. Different materials are tested as secondary materials in the composite plate. The results obtained by these materials for unit weight and for residual velocities of the projectile are compared. A new stacking sequence study is conducted with the Kevlar 29/epoxy as primary material and Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE ...Daha fazlası

Antitumor effect of RGD peptite on cancer microtissues RGD peptidin kanser mikrodokuları üzerinde antitümör etkisi

Aydın, Veli Kaan

ABSTRACTCancer studies continue to gain interest in the recent period. Many types of cancer, especially breast cancer, continue to cause deaths worldwide and the number of people suffering from this disease is increasing. The methods that are used most at the basis of cancer studies are starting with 2-Dimensional (2D) cell culture. However, 2D cell culture can no longer adequately reflect in vivo conditions. Scientists have turned their efforts towards these 3-Dimensional (3D) cell cultures. There are many different ways of obtaining 3D cell culture. The preferred 3DPetriDish ™ technique in th ...Daha fazlası

Control and design of industrial robotic arm by using ROS ROS kullanarak endüstriyel robotik kolun kontrolü ve tasarımı

Candemir, Adem

ABSTRACTIndustrial robots currently used in industry all have their own interfaces and unique languages. These commonly used interfaces and languages are often limited to industry needs. Although there are several robotic solutions, practically all of them can't rectify problems on their own. When a program is required for a more complex task, machine vision locates objects and puts them in desired locations and for situations such as applying the correct force for assembly operations by measuring with force-torque sensors, they often need third-party programs as existing systems cannot respon ...Daha fazlası

Using alcohol as a carrier producing polyanionic cellulose (PAC) polymer from solid textile waste

Karakuş, Hüseyin

Cellulose is the most abundant organic polymer on earth. It is naturally regenerated by forests and cotton plantations with a speed of 10 billion metric tons per year regularly. Not only its natural reproduction makes it ecologically beneficial but also its biological degradability makes cellulose an ‘eco-friendly material’. Applications of cellulose is limited due to its insolubility in water. Contrarily, its water-soluble derivatives, especially cellulose ethers, are found in nearly all the products we are using in our daily life. Although cellulose is the main raw material for producing ce ...Daha fazlası

Artificial Intelligence Based Resource Allocation in Cell-Free Networks

Mert Demirel

With the rapid development of technology, cellular networks can no longer meet the demands of wireless networks. Communication systems need to be updated to ensure that every user equipment (UE) receives accurate and efficient service. Cell-free (CF) networks offer advantages over cellular networks, such as more flexible resource allocation, higher capacity, better coverage and lower interference. The deployment of multiple access points (APs) and flexible allocation of resources leads to higher network performance and efficiency. In addition, in CF networks, users can communicate with ...Daha fazlası
