OPG and RANKL levels around miniscrew implants during orthodontic tooth movement

Introduction: The aim of this study was to determine the peri-miniscrew implant crevicular fluid receptor activator of nuclear factor-lB ligand (RANKL) and osteoprotegerin (OPG) levels around loaded and unloaded miniscrew implants at different time intervals. Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a connective tissue disease that has effect on the structure and function of collagen. Collagen is a fibrous protein that is one of the main building structures of connective tissues such as skin, tendon, bone and cartilage.
