Akşehir’in ekoturizm potansiyelini ve SWOT analizini belirlemeye yönelik bir araştırma

ÖZETEkoturizm etkinlikleri tüm dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de hızla artmaktadır. Bu etkinlikler ile kaynak yaratılmakta, ekosistem korunmakta, yerel ve ulusal düzeyde sosyal ve ekonomik gelişme sağlanmaktadır. Ekoturizm içerisinde doğayı tahrip etmeden yapılan, eğlenmeye, dinlenmeye ve öğrenmeye yönelik birçok faaliyet bulunmaktadır. Bunların düzenlenmesinde, sahip olunan tarihi ve kültürel varlıklar ile eşsiz doğal güzellikler önemli rol oynamaktadır. Ülkemizin tarihi, kültürel ve doğal zenginliklerinin olduğu önemli yerlerden biri de Konya’nın Akşehir ilçesidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Akşehir’in ekoturizm potansiyelinin ve SWOT analizinin belirlenmesidir. Akşehir’in ekoturizm potansiyelinin belirlenmesi, ulusal ve bölgesel ekoturizm politikaları ve projeksiyonlarının belirlenmesine katkı sağlayabilecektir. Ayrıca yöreyi merak edenler ve literatür açısından da araştırmanın önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.ABSTRACTEcotourism activities are increasing rapidly in our country as well as all over the world. With these activities, resources are created, ecosystem is protected, and social and economic development is provided at local and national level. There are many activities in ecotourism that do without destroying the nature, to have fun, to rest and to learn. Historical and cultural assets and unique natural beauties play an important role in their organization. One of the important places where the historical, cultural and natural richness of our country is located is the Akşehir district of Konya. The aim of this study is to determine the ecotourism potential and SWOT analysis of Akşehir. Determining the ecotourism potential of Akşehir will contribute to the determination of national and regional ecotourism policies and projections. In addition, it is thought that the research is important for the people who are interested in the region and in terms of literature.
