Bu çalışmada VCM’nin ayrıştırılması amacıyla kullanılan mevcut degazör ve sıyırma kolon sistemlerinin bilgisayar ortamında Aspen Plus simülasyon programı kullanılarak modellemesi ve benzetimi yapılmıştır. Bu simülasyon çalışmasındaki amaç, PVC reçine içinde kalan VCM miktarının 1 ppm’nin altına düşürülmesini sağlamak ve sıyırma işleminde kullanılan optimum buhar miktarını elde etmektir. Modeling and experimental study of turbulent newtonian fluid in fully eccentric annulus considering temperature and pipe rotation effects

In this work, the effect of temperature on the pressure loss of Newtonian fluid in a fully eccentric annulus with pipe rotation is investigated. For this purpose, initially comprehensive experimental study has been conducted at Izmir Katip Celebi University (IKCU), Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics Laboratory of Civil Engineering Department. Fuzzy logic modelling of sediment transport in annulus

The understanding of sediment transport with fluid in pipes is one of the important issues in hydraulics engineering. If the fluid velocity is lower than a critical value, a stationary cuttings bed develops, which may cause excessive head loss. In this study, a Fuzzy Logic (FL) model is developed to estimate stationary cuttings bed thickness inside the annulus.
