Objective –The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of local resveratrol (RSVL) administration on bone formation in response to expansion of the interpremaxillary suture, in rats. Material and Methods – Twenty 50- to 60-day-old male Wistar rats were separated into two equal groups. Gebelikteki besin tercihinin bebeğin cinsiyeti ile fiziksel ve zihinsel gelişim üzerine etkisiyle ilgili düşüncelerini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılan bu çalışmaya, Erciyes Üniversitesi Gevher Nesibe Hastanesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Polikliniği’ne başvuran 501 kadın alınmıştır. Veriler anket formu ile yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan gebelerin yaş ortalaması 26.7±5.8 yıldır.
