Artificial Intelligence Based Resource Allocation in Cell-Free Networks

Mert Demirel

With the rapid development of technology, cellular networks can no longer meet the demands of wireless networks. Communication systems need to be updated to ensure that every user equipment (UE) receives accurate and efficient service. Cell-free (CF) networks offer advantages over cellular networks, such as more flexible resource allocation, higher capacity, better coverage and lower interference. The deployment of multiple access points (APs) and flexible allocation of resources leads to higher network performance and efficiency. In addition, in CF networks, users can communicate with ...Daha fazlası

New grade of thermoplastic polyurethane with high thermal conductivity and low coefficient of friction

Semiz, Seçkin

Today, thermoplastic polyurethane materials are widely used in many different applications. There are many types of thermoplastic polyurethanes which offers different mechanical and chemical properties according to application area. In addition to the existing properties, thermoplastic polyurethane materials mixed with various additives to obtain specific, targeted thermoplastic polyurethane materials in order to impart different properties to the material for application. In this study, materials of the sealing elements are approached which is one of the most important parts of the hyd ...Daha fazlası

Detection of dyes in water using smartphone technology for environmental sustaınability

Kocakuşak Özdemir, Gizem

The goal of this thesis is to develop the applicability of an ultra-low cost, field-deployable, plastic fiber based smartphone spectrometer system to study dye adsorption from water. A custom cradle using smartphone’s built-in flash and camera was designed for visible absorbance spectroscopy without any need for external electrical components. We firstly investigated the performance of smartphone spectrometer for methylene blue (MB) absorbance in water with a detection limit of 0.5 ppm, and compared it to that of a commercial spectrometer. We elaborated on the contribution of image formats to ...Daha fazlası

Evaluation of organic waste materials as bio-polymeric admixtures in cement based composite mortars Organik atık malzemelerin biyo-polimerik katkı olarak çimento bağlayıcılı kompozit harçlarda değerlendirilmesi

Kalkan, Şevket Onur

ABSTRACTIn this study, the effect of a new generation bio-polymeric admixture on the physical and mechanical properties of cement mortars is examined in detail. The bio-polymeric admixture is prepared by grinding egg shells, apricot kernel shells, hazelnut kernel shells, walnut kernel shells, and olive seeds in micronized sizes. The evaluation of the bio-polymeric admixtures, which are produced as wastes, among high production materials such as concrete and mortar derivative products, provides an opportunity for better disposal and management of these wastes.ÖZETBu çalışmada, yeni nesil biyopo ...Daha fazlası

Do enamel microabrasion and casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate affect shear bond strength of orthodontic brackets bonded to a demineralized enamel surface?

ASLI BAYSAL |

Objective: To evaluate and compare the effects of enamel microabrasion, casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP), and their combination on the shear bond strength (SBS) of orthodontic brackets bonded to demineralized enamel surface. Materials and Methods: One hundred human first premolar teeth were randomly allocated to one of five groups. Group I was considered as the control of other groups. For the remaining groups, demineralization was performed via solutions. In group II, brackets were directly bonded to the demineralized enamel surface. CPP-ACP was applied in group ...Daha fazlası

العلاقات النَّسقيَّة والعلاقات الجدوليَّة

The purpose of this study is to investigate the topic of mathematical and spatial relationships, to clarify what linguistics has provided in this field, and to identify these relationships in the process of linguistic creation, and to determine the function of language, following this descriptive and analytical approach. It is noteworthy that these two terms are modern, but we do not mention the concept in the books of our ancient scholars; They talked about various techniques that may affect the formal and semantic enrichment of the patterns of linguistic formation, including: Deletion, Metap ...Daha fazlası

Submitted to the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of

Millions of people worldwide suffer from diabetes and diseases caused by diabetes. As a result of the statistical studies carried out by the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of people suffering from diabetes was 108 million in 1980, then it was increased to 422 million in 2014. Diabetes is increasing rapidly, particularly in underdeveloped and developing countries and it was predicted that 1.5 million people died because of it only in 2019 (WHO, 2021).

Effect of LED-mediatedphotobiomodulation therapy on orthodontic tooth movement and root resorption in rats

TANCAN UYSAL

The aim of this experimental study was to evaluate the effects of light-emitting diode-mediated-photobiomodulation therapy (LPT), on the rate of orthodontic tooth movement (TM) and orthodontically induced root resorption, in rats. Twentymale 12-week-oldWistar rats were separated into two groups (control and LPT) and 50 cN of force was applied between maxillary left molar and incisor with a coil spring. In the treatment group, LPT was applied with an energy density of 20 mW/cm2 over a period of 10 consecutive days directly over the movement of the first molar teeth area. The distance b ...Daha fazlası
