Bu çalışmada Manisa ili Köprübaşı İlçesi’nde yer alan Demirköprü Baraj Gölü’nde ticari balıkçıların sazan (Cyprinus carpio L., 1758) avcılığında kullandıkları 65, 70, 75, 80 mm ağ göz genişliğine sahip multifilament uzatma ağlarının av verimliliği ve seçiciliğini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada Haziran 2015 - Haziran 2016 tarihleri arasında 30 avcılık denemesi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Toplam boyları 8 ile 82 cm arasında değişen 239 adet sazan yakalanmıştır.
