Arrhythmia-related disorders are a significant contributor to cardiac fatalities globally. Research has indicated that arrhythmia can also increase the risk of severe heart conditions such as Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) syndrome. Early arrhythmia detection is challenging, leading to adverse outcomes and highlighting the necessity for an affordable diagnostic tool. Electrocardiogram (ECG), a noninvasive technique, is a primary diagnostic tool for atrial fibrillation attacks. Electrodes are placed in different configurations on the body's surface to record the information. A cleaned ECG signal provides necessary information about the electrophysiology of heart diseases and possible ischemic changes. It offers valuable information about the functional aspects of the heart and cardiovascular system. This research aims to introduce a new ECG device. The proposed device is a portable ECG device that detects Arrhythmias. The device utilizes a Raspberry Pi 4 module as its core component, linking the sensors to a personalized mobile app for monitoring ECG readings. It has been specifically designed to detect episodes of Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation quickly. The real-time showcasing of ECG signals, facilitated by the AD8232 heart rate sensor, has been successfully implemented through Python software.
