ÖZETÜniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer kararı vermeleri sürecinde yaptıkları seçimler, hayatlarında aldıkları en önemli bir kararlardan biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı kariyer koçluğu uygulamalarının üniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer kararı yetkinliği ve kariyer stres düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında İzmir Katip Çelebi Üniversitesi İşletme Bölümünde okuyan son sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya çalışma grubu için 12 (6 kız 6 erkek), kontrol grubu için 12 (6 kız 6 erkek) kişi olmak üzere toplam 24 kişi alınmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak Sosyodemografik form, Kariyer Kararı Yetkinliği Ölçeği ve Kariyer Stres Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Deney grubundaki öğrencilere araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve her biri 60 dakika olmak üzere 6 haftalık kariyer koçluk programı uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel veri analizinde Levene's testi, t-testi ve Ancova kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda yapılan kariyer koçluğu uygulamasının çalışma grubundaki öğrencilerin kariyer kararı yetkinliğini arttırırken, kariyer stresi düzeylerini azalttığı belirlenmiştir.ABSTRACTChoices made by university students in their career decision making are perhaps an important decision in their lives. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of career coaching practices on career decision competence and career stress levels of university students. The sample of the study consists of senior students studying at Izmir Katip Çelebi University, Department of Business Administration in 2018-2019 academic year. A total of 24 participant, 12 (6 female 6 male) for the study group and 12 (6 female 6 male) for the control group, were included in the study. Sociodemographic Form, Career Decision Competency Scale and Career Stress Scale were used as data collection tools. A 6-week career coaching program that developed by the researcher, which Levene's test, t-test and ANCOVA were used in statistical data analysis, was applied to the participants in the study group for 60 minutes each participant. As a result of the study, it was determined that the career coaching practice increased the career decision competence of the participants in the study group while decreasing their career stress levels. With increasing career coaching practices in universities, it can be ensured that future generations become more competent and successful individuals in their careers and experience less career stress.
