A research about discussion of organizational communication and strategic planning process

In environment of globalization and intense competition, businesses make
their long-term plans in order to sustain their existence. This planning ensures
employees to understand the points of organization’s mission, its goal, the place
where it wants to reach and how it will get there, and it is thought that organizational
communication plays an important role in this respect.
In this context, the main purpose of the study is to a research about discussion
of organizational communication and strategic planning process. In the research
where interview was preferred as data gathering technique, three managers of a
business operating in iron and steel sector were chosen as participants. In line with
the received answers, it can be stated that strong communication with employees is
decisive in design and implementation of strategic planning.
