ABSTRACTAntibacterial photodynamic therapy is a treatment that occurs in the presence of light, photosensitizer and oxygen. The photosensitizer reacts with the molecular oxygen in the environment when it is stimulated by light at the appropriate wavelength, causing reactive oxygen species at the end.
