Development of a Tele-Physiotherapy Device to Remedy Elbow Joint with Mobile App Support

Arda SARPAY

The aim of this thesis was to develop a wearable tele-physiotherapy device that addresses the remote elbow joint rehabilitation. The developed device consists of a wearable exoskeleton equipped with servo motor, joint angle sensor, EMG sensor, battery and Wi-Fi module. By connecting with the Android mobile application, it enables real-time monitoring of EMG data and programming of personalized exercise programs. The device offers convenience and comfort to patients by eliminating the need for face-to-face physiotherapy sessions and aims to reduce treatment costs and treatment time. The develo ...Daha fazlası

A new web-based education and monitoring system for patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus Tip-2 diyabet hastaları için web tabanlı yeni bir eğitim ve izleme sistemi

Özçiftci, Hafsa Elif

ABSTRACTDiabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that progresses rapidly. Today, thenumber of diabetic patients is increasing day by day, but treatment methods arebeginning to be inadequate due to the insufficient time, financial deficiencies andother restrictions. Diabetes education and treatment are very important for thediabetic to survive. Diabetes treatment is practiced in many areas of life from thenutrition habits to the social life activities. In terms of the course of diabetestreatment, it is necessary for the self-management of the patient to follow thediabetes education and appli ...Daha fazlası

Evaluating steady-state visually-evoked potentials using ensemble learning methods Durağan hal görsel uyarılmış potansiyellerin topluluk öğrenmesi yöntemleriyle değerlendirilmesi

Sayılgan, Ebru

ÖZETSteady-state visual evoked potentials (SSVEPs) have been designated to be appropriate and useful for many areas in clinical neuroscience, cognitive, and in engineering. SSVEPs have become popular recently, due to their advantages such as high bit rate, simple system structure, and short training time, etc. To design SSVEP based BCI system, signal processing methods appropriate to the signal structure should be applied. One of the most appropriate signal processing methods of these non-stationary signals is the Wavelet Transform. After literature searched, we noticed that there was no study ...Daha fazlası

Design of arduino shield to record real-time electrocardiography signals Elektrokardiyografi sinyallerinin gerçek zamanlı kaydı için elektronik filtreli ardunio eklentisi tasarımı

Çağatay, Onur Doğanay

ABSTRACTIn this thesis, an Arduino extension board (shield) is designed to take theelectrocardiography (ECG) signals. Firstly, the positive and negative terminals of an ECG signal are selected to determine which input pins are connected to these terminals. User can select one of eight possible inputs for each terminal, which means the user can apply one of the possible 64 channel combinations to inputs of the design. Then a dedicated instrumental amplifier amplifies the signal. The voltagegain of the amplifier can be selectable among available options. The amplified ECG signal is filtered in a ...Daha fazlası

Incubator monitoring system for newborn infants using Raspberry PI Raspberry pi kullanılarak bebek kuvözü izleme sistemi geliştirilmesi

Selek, Mehmet Hakan

ABSTRACTPreterm newborns are unlikely to live without any additional support. Babies born in this way need special care and a place that would imitate their mother’s womb as much as possible. The environmental conditions like the temperature, humidity, noise, light intensity, etc. need to be carefully managed. In addition to managing the environment, it is necessary to record vital data such as baby's temperature and pulse and record any changes so that they can be examined later. Since the systems that carry out these mentioned controls are very expensive, there are still hospitals that do no ...Daha fazlası

Investigation of the Effects of Statistically Significant Features on the Classification of EEG-Based Motor Imagery Tasks

Murside Degirmenci

Motor imagery (MI) task classification is highly prevalent in Electroencephalography (EEG)-based Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) research area. Extremity movement task classification and finger movement classification studies are presented in this thesis. In extremity movement classification, binary-class (right hand and left hand) and multi-class (right hand, left hand, right hand, and left hand) classifications are performed using 4 different feature extraction approaches and statistically significance-based feature selection (the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA test). Firstly, time- ...Daha fazlası
