Bu çalışmada, Multipl Skleroz tanısı için en kesin kriter olan bilgisayarlı beyin tomografisi bul-gulara incelenmiş ve klinik olarak multipl skleroz olduğu belirlenen hastalarımizen tomografi sonuçları, literatür bilgileriyle taritşılmiştır. Sonuçta, bilgisayarlı beyin tomografisi bulgulartnın, hastalık dönemlerine göre değişebileceği ve diğer bazı nörolojik hastalıklarla karıştırılabileceği kanısına varılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, en az bir yıldır major antiepileptik ilaç kullanan 42 epileptik hastada tiroid hormonları, testosteron, gonadotropin ve prolaktin değerleri ölçülerek ortaya çıkan değişiklikler araştırıldı. Sonuçta major antiepilepukleriın özellikle serbest T4 ve total testosteron değerlerinde azalma yaptığı belirlendi. Erken teşhis ve tedavi ile, ma-lign tümörlü hastalarda daha uygun prognoza sahip olunabileceği kanaatine ulaşıldı. The cases of twenty patients, treated for turnors and cysts of mediastinurn between 1984-1990, have been investigated. it has been established that a more favourable prognosis could be obtained through early diagnosis and treatrnent of the patients with malignant turnors.
